Lord of the Rings Online won Best Expansion award of E3 2011

Lord of the Rings Online, Rise of Isengard won Best Expansion award of E3 2011! With strong player base, free to play model making game open for fans we should wait for more expansions for this amazing massively multiplayer online role playing game.
Isengard is the third expansion for LOTRO and brings some great content and features to gamers. For a game that has been around as long as it has, it is exciting to see such an amazing expansion come to the forefront for us - gamers. The idea of “mobile quest givers” alone is worth it for MMO fans as companions join your crew to give you quests as we go. Turbine is really pushing the story aspect here for LOTRO and giving us the ability to make a difference in Middle Earth. Not only that, but everyone will have access to LOTRO’s monster play which allows gamers to jump into PvP as monsters in the game. A hardened veteran of MMOs, LOTRO is serving up some exciting content with this expansion.

Other interesting rewards (naah not related to Lotro)

Best PvP of E3 2011 => Dragon Nest (Nexon)

Nexon comes up to bat this year with Dragon Nest, and even it’s looking like, sweet anime style, Player vs Player is fast and deadly. With knock down drag out fights for gamers in battle ground areas Dragon Nest moves very fast. My team had a blast with the combat in the game pitting warriors against archers and mages trying to bring each other down in the arena.

Rising Star Award for E3 2011 => World of Tanks (wargaming.net)

Tank commanders rejoice, World of Tanks hit E3 this year with the power of a bombshell. The game, which has grown amazingly and now become one of the premiere titles online. World of Tanks gets our Rising Star Award from becoming one of the quickest growing online games. With its successful free to play design and very realistic graphics, gamer can be eaten for many hours.

Best Combat of E3 2011 => TERA (En Masse)

MMO are moving closer into the action combat zone with their play styles. The first game to really bring this to the next level is TERA. With a UI that allows for some combinations and dodges, MMO combat will not be the same once this game hits the market. The game play and combat move incredibly fast for an MMO and gamers will enjoy the very fast combat in the game. TERA continues to impress by having some of the best demos at game shows.

Best Genre Crossover of E3 2011 => End of Nations (Trion)

There have been many spins on the MMO industry from various genres of games. Many companies have tried to incorporate all kinds of game play into MMOs. Gamers can constantly work their forces and construct units to fight it out across virtual battlefields. Trion’s End of Nations does an amazing job of bringing the fast paced multitasking of RTS to the online game space.

Most Innovative of E3 2011 => DUST 514 (CCP)

EVE Online has been a triumph in the MMO industry and the impact that DUST 514 will have on the EVE universe makes everyone stand up and take notice of a game that pays homage to combat in a world of space ships. Factions and gamers have been battling it out for almost a 10 years. Now with DUST 514 gamers will be taking on a whole new level of engagement into the dark future of EVE.

Exteel and interactive mechs

Welcome! Bored with LotRO? Looking for interactive games? How about some amazing MMO created and released by NCsoft - Exteel. Well, in Exteel, you can control giant customized mechs “Mechanaughts” into fight against other players or versus computer robots. This marvelous online interactive game, you can compete with online gamers in such games like: Territory Capture, Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and co-operative Last Stand matches against computer controlled foes.

What you find in Exteel
<> We can struggle in individual death matches take a team of up to eight on amazing tasks, or engage in large-scale platoon warfare with up to 64 robot fighters
<> We can are able to enjoy game with stylized, high-speed action in a game inspired by Hong Kong martial arts films! This game is like a movie!
<> Explore unique combinations of skills and even develop your own deadly weapons!
<> We can even design our own outstanding robots piece-by-piece with an extensive character creation.
<> You can evolve your combat strategy and techniques using weapons, abilities and jet packs

Awesome game, really. It's impressive title. You can beat opponents using any reaping plasma swords, lethal rifles, deadly rockets, SMGs and other amazing and dangerous weaponry - Exteel has the huge amount of scary weapons, tough armor, skills and parts available to purchase in the game’s store. Well this isn’t that great, but Exteel is different free game with in-game shop, like Runescape or Luna Online games. Different bad thing is difficulty with connection to game server, it was in my opinion to often and I people from NCsoft will fix these kinds of problems soon. Game is marvelous so if you are searching for perfect interactive games, you should try out this game.

Official system requirements for Exteel

CPU- 800 MHz
1 GB available hard disk space
Windows 2000 or XP/Vista
256 MB RAM

Another part of this game is to fight with online players, but matches against computer controlled foes can be nice break. Combat is really fast, robot's customization is amazing and game is running smoothly almost on every machine.
One of the stuff that really make the gameplay special, though, is that really like Virtual-On there are long range weapons and melee weapons. The long range weapons such as rifles, pistols, shotguns and cannons each behave differently and are nice for detailed warfare scenarios.

Given the setup of the mechs, players can select what goes in the left and right hand of their mech and this gives us for some nifty weapon combinations, including using two shields.

I would like to tell you also with LotRO grandfather, which is also about one of the greatest MMORPG ever, EverQuest. I will tell you most basic knowledge about both parts of this MMORPG fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing interactive games .First EverQuest was released on 16 March 1999 and second EverQuest II was released in late 2004. First one was made by Sony’s 989 Studios and its early-1999 spin-off Verant Interactive. I know these interactive games also totally and I really like to enjoy sometimes in amazing virtual world of EverQuest.

LOTRO SKIRMISH PATCH 1

Welcome today about quite interesting skirmish changes, checkthem out.

1) Item wear on defeat has been reduced while inside Skirmishes.

While individual results may vary, we feel overall Skirmishes are providing a reasonable amount of rewards. For patch one, they wanted to take the step of reducing the amount of lotro gold lost when killed in a Skirmish. They believe this fix will not change the end amount of gold we can achieve. It’s not bad idea, because after introducing Skirmishes, you really need a lot of gold. I’m waiting for other changes in the future anyway!

2) The monster kill XP buff inside Skirmishes now has a buff icon associated with it.

The Skirmish Monster Kill XP buff will remain in effect until the release of Volume 3 Book 1.
If you will monster in Skirmish you will receive more 25% XP then landscape. According to Turbine, this 25 % bonus was not needed and has helped make Skirmishes a bit too efficient vs. other game play styles (ehhhh whatever…). That’s why they changed the XP bonus to be a visible buff, the "Skirmish Boon." This buff will be in place until Book 1, when it will be removed. This fantastic buff will come back during promotional events. Damn this really sucks, but for real Lotro was getting less balanced because of that – just like scenarios in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, where u can play all the time in scenarios and ignore other aspects of leveling. Warhammer Online is another not balanced MMO RPG which is really sucks, even game is good.

3) Herbalist and Bannerguard healing will no longer be reduced by armor.

As confirmed Soldier healing was being treated as something like "negative damage". This led heavy armour wearing classes to gaining less healing then light armor classes. The bug has been finally fixed and should help heavy classes who pair with a Herbalist or Bannerguard.

HUUURAY!! Finally they fixed this, it was really annoying during Skirmish! In my opinion it was one of the most annoying things.

See you again in Lotro!

Lotro MMO expansion award

Welcome friends on my Lotro Blog! According to tentonhammer.com, Lotro Siege of Mirkwood expansion, has won best MMO expansion award!Siege of Mirkwood offers players the usual gambit of content one can expect of an expansion. It includes new quests and new zones and dungeons, a level cap increase, and new raids.

Tentonhammer crew is really amazed by the Skirmish system which is the most fun ideas we've seen in the industry this year. You should know that in Skirmish, we can create and lead our own soldier in randomized instances. The soldier can be trained and is receiving experience points. Joining a skirmish is very easy and provides quick and fantastic entertainment. As an added incentive, purchasing Siege of Mirkwood also includes all previous expansions and content updates.

What can I say more? Lotro is one of the best MMORPG ever created and is one of the best game I ever seen. Turbine has really big heart to his products and knows how to promote game in very tough competition in MMO genre. What about EA and Warhammer Online? Warhammer Online after huge commercial success of Aion Online: Tower of Eternity is dying…it’s sad how big companies are killed their children…EA Mythic wake up!

See you again

10 things about MMORPG

Well, I'm huge fan of this genre, that's why I created this, small post about Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games.

1. Player’s task is to evolve his character (avatar) and travel all virtual fantasy world. Of course player don’t have to do it, because there are no strict story line.

2. Although MMORPGs, have only existed since the early 1990s, all these games can trace a lineage back to the earliest multi-user games which started appearing in the late 1970s. So around 40 years ago!

3. Top popular free-to-play MMORPG, is Maple Story, created by Nexon. Only in Asia, it has around 33 millions of players, to huge number over 50 millions worldwide!

4. You should know that game addictions are currently the fastest growing class of addictions, with MMORPG addictions being the most common! So watch out for you health during you game sessions.

5. There are 3 archetypes of classes in MMORPG. Tank, DPS (Damage-per-Second), Healer, each class has weak and strong points.

6. The first console-based MMORPG was Final Fantasy XI for the Sony PlayStation 2. Game is still available and has around 500,000 subscribers, mostly in Japan, where is nr 1 MMORPG.

7. Many MMORPGs feature living economies. All virtual items and currency have to be gained through play and have definite value for players. Sometimes items are worth around few thousand dollars!

8. Since the interactions between MMORPG gamers are real, psychologists and sociologists are able to use MMORPGs as tools for academic research. Prof. Bonnie Nardi of the University of California Irvine is working on science project about this issue: “Why American players go to greater lengths to mod the popular MMO than do Chinese World of Warcraft players”.

9. Idea of MMORPG, is to play with other gamers online, so remember to play with others! You are not alone!

10. Most popular pay-for-play game is World of Warcraft, developed by Blizzard Entertainment. It has over 11 millions of player worldwide! Even so these games are far more less popular then Free MMORPGs.

Now we can play for 10 days for free! Free Trial available in North America, Australia, and New Zealand only - sry European players :-(.

Well, I also found that Codemasters is taking a new tack on MMO recruitment program by offering Amazon vouchers worth 5 Euro/Pounds.

The program has been launched almost month ago and is open to all LOTRO players who sign up at the referral page of the official site and hand over some friend's e-mail addresses. For each friend who converts the proffered free trial into a subscription, the original player will get the GBP 5 or EUR 5 voucher for the popular online store. About details you can read here.

Lotro: Warden Class

Hello guys, today i want to add few words about Warden Class. Warden is master of spear and javelin. In combat he wears medium armor, making them neither a tank nor a dps class specifically. Class is designed to represent the equivalent of a local town sheriff, Wardens are protectors that specialize in special combination attacks using their Gambit User Interface.

According to wikipedia, the “idea is that a Warden will execute their abilities in certain sequences that eventually culminate in a special attack only available after completing the prescribed set of moves. In practice, the Warden's Gambit UI is an array of three to five (depending on character level) squares that slot the abilities as you use them, once all of the squares have been filled, a new skill will flash at the end of the bar as it becomes available.”

If you are interested you can visit website. I'm working on website about online games for kids, you can also click here.

Well this new class is looking quite alright, but I will stay with my champ. More interesting is Rune-Keeper in my opinion, with his fancy healing or damage powers ( I will write about him next time).
