Now we can play for 10 days for free! Free Trial available in North America, Australia, and New Zealand only - sry European players :-(.

Well, I also found that Codemasters is taking a new tack on MMO recruitment program by offering Amazon vouchers worth 5 Euro/Pounds.

The program has been launched almost month ago and is open to all LOTRO players who sign up at the referral page of the official site and hand over some friend's e-mail addresses. For each friend who converts the proffered free trial into a subscription, the original player will get the GBP 5 or EUR 5 voucher for the popular online store. About details you can read here.

Well, hopefully my new notebook is doing very well with new Lotro expansion, I've got Dell M6300M with 2,2 with Intel Centrino Duo + 4 GB Ram and Video Card NVIDIA Quadro FX 1600M + 17'' widescreen (it cost me 1200 $).

Lotro: Warden Class

Hello guys, today i want to add few words about Warden Class. Warden is master of spear and javelin. In combat he wears medium armor, making them neither a tank nor a dps class specifically. Class is designed to represent the equivalent of a local town sheriff, Wardens are protectors that specialize in special combination attacks using their Gambit User Interface.

According to wikipedia, the “idea is that a Warden will execute their abilities in certain sequences that eventually culminate in a special attack only available after completing the prescribed set of moves. In practice, the Warden's Gambit UI is an array of three to five (depending on character level) squares that slot the abilities as you use them, once all of the squares have been filled, a new skill will flash at the end of the bar as it becomes available.”

Well this new class is looking quite alright, but I will stay with my champ. More interesting is Rune-Keeper in my opinion, with his fancy healing or damage powers ( I will write about him next time).

Few minutes ago i found some crazy information from our beloved Lord of the Rings Online.

What new? Well now i don't have much time to play in Lord of the Rings Online, but i'm doing some deeds - I've got 7 level of Valor and 6 of Justice, also i'm traveling and most of time in fighting in Urugath and Carn Dum (Angmar). http://www.lotronlinegold.net, I also bought some stuff, pair of cool gloves and few parts of armor ( almost 10 gold coins per all). I'm completely out of money now :/ Another thing is to advance on mastery level in Weapon crafting but i dunno when i will do that...time will tell...

Finaly level 50!!

Hello mates, welcome! I'm very happy to inform that around week ago my first character advanced through all level and now I'm on 50 level :-) (until premiere of Mines of Moria anyway...)

What's new? first of all like other players on my level I'm doing deeds, there are lots of deeds in game but i pick few and all my time im spending on grinding..i don't like this after playing in World of Warcraft but some traits ( when you complete deed you get traits) are very good.

On the screen Mikevorn (me) vs Helchgam, he killed then all my fellowship including me :/

For the example when you reach Valor trait on level 10 you've got:

+ 286 to Morale (something like HP)
+ 10 Mighty
+ 5.8 non-Combat Morale Regeneration (if i remember correctly )
another cool trait for my class is Discipline you can get on level 10:
+30 Might
+5.0% Disease Resistance
-1.5% Melee Vulnerability

You can pick max 5 at the same time traits and when you add each one to your character, you became really strong. I will write something about other traits for combat next time.

Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria

Today i want to present special teaser about upcoming expansion pack for our beloved Lord of the Rings Online: Shadow of Angmar. Expansion will be called Lord of the Rings: Mines of Moria! Check out this video :-)

I now that in Mines of Moria there will be lots of cool items and level cap will be raised to 60.
Probably most coolest this is new type of Legendary Items, player will be able to forge, weapons like Bilbo's Sting or Gandalf's Glamdring! For me as a Champion it's great news =))
I always dreamed about myself with 2 x Narsil in each hand :P.

Anyway also there will be new monsters, new deeds and new legendary skills + many many more!

We are waiting!!

Land of Forochel in Book 13

On official forum i've found map of new territory from Book 13 :-)!
This region of Forochel will be near Evendim, but i dunno where exactly.
Forochel parts are Talvi-mûri = Winter-wall, Länsi-mâ = West-land, Itä-mâ = East-land, Jä-kuru = Ice-canyon ( i know this from one guy from forum, its from Finnish language ) .
What is extra cool soon expansion Mines of Moria will be released with lots of new stuff, like level cap raised to 60 or new mobs like Balrog!




(29 June Update)
After some time i'm familiar with all Forochel and i can really recommend this area for everyone. You can very easily get very powerful blue item set ( 2 x rings and jewel ).
When i was on 44 level i went to Forochel and get 4 levels. Area is maybe boring but quests are very cool with valuable equipment.
